This website, started by Dr. Shiv S Kumar in 2002, deals with scientific research and education.
In particular, it deals with the following fields in astronomy and astrophysics: 1) the structure and
evolution of stars 2) star and planet formations processes 3) origin and evolution of the solar
system 4) the origin and evolution of brown dwarfs 5) atmospheric structure of cool stars.
Dr. Kumar has contributed to all of the above fields since 1957.
